NEWS and EVENTS
Next meeting Thursday 10th September at 7pm. More information to follow.
Fife Council has received confirmation today from the Chief Executive confirming that all Fife Council Committees will be cancelled from Thursday 19th March, 2020, see below.
As part of our response to the national advice around Coronavirus, it has been agreed to suspend all Council committee meetings from tomorrow, Thursday 19 March to the end of April. The NHS has updated information on underlying conditions that might put people at increased risk from Covid-19. If you are over 70, have a weakened immune system or have one of the listed long-term conditions you should stay at home.
In light of this advice, it is advisable that ALL Community Council meetings are now suspended until further notice. Community Council members can, of course, continue to communicate with each other but please remember that NO decisions on CC business can be made in private without public involvement and therefore should be deferred until such a time when meetings can resume.

The Pitcairn Centre now has a Community Toilet accessible to the public Monday to Fridays (08:00 – 16:00). FCCT staff based at Pitcairn had seen a significant rise in members of the public requesting the use of the staff toilets and took the decision to convert one of the old toilets into a facility available for public use. In addition the facility has also been put forward for the loo of the year award and we look forward to the feedback from the British Toilet Association assessors. The days of opening may be found by clickinghere.
