Boundary extension

NGCC have been involved in a consultation with Fife Council to increase our boundary to take in a group of houses south of the River Leven.  

The consultation period has now ended. Fife Council would like to thank all those who contributed. Responses are currently under review, and a report will be submitted to a meeting of Fife Council for consideration and decision. The outcome will be published in due course.

Local Concerns

We are currently following up on concerns expressed by local residents regarding procedures in place in light of this summer's wildfires.

We are also following up on concerns regarding the look of the area in regard to the weed growth along the edge of pavements and roundabouts.

The result of this was that services have been reduced and any blocked drains should be reported to the council and from us could we appeal to those who are able to help by clearing leaves from their area. This small act of Community action could make a big difference.

Several different concerns have been raised regarding safety in the dark and in the wet weather around certain areas and we are contacting the various appropriate folk.
